A beautifully presented signed vintage watercolour landscape, depicting a peaceful English-style countryside scene with trees, open fields and soft muted tones.
The artwork has a lovely tranquil quality, with delicate washes of green, cream, brown and blue creating an atmospheric rural landscape. Small birds can be seen in the distance, adding to the sense of depth and calm.
The painting is signed to the lower right, with the signature appearing to read “James”. I have been unable to confirm the full identity of the artist, so it is being offered as an unattributed signed work.
It is professionally presented behind glass with an attractive multi-layered mount in complementary green, cream and gold tones, finished in a warm wooden frame with gilt detailing.
A very attractive piece of traditional wall art that would suit a country home, study, hallway, living room or cottage-style interior.
Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description. As a vintage piece, there may be light age-related wear to the frame and presentation.
